    And I did, finding that Lipitor's patent runs out June of 2011, Phizer has made a side deal with a generic manufacturer to postpone introduction until 11/2011??? Of course my "authority" is Wikipedia, so take that with a grain of salt. The other generics mentioned above are apparently authorized in other countries which don't recognize our patent time tables.     Incidentally, my 40mg X 90 prescription costs $421.69 with insurance paying $295.69 of that here in the US.
    At a Canadian pharmacy on the web the same drug dose and strength costs $213 (canadian?) for Lipitor or $114 (Canadian?) for their generic, which they apparently have no trouble with.

    try the grocery store RX... cheap stuff to be had in there.. so i hear, I'm not on any prescription drugs.

    Rather it was all about the spin---and for many it was manna--no thought process necessary, no objectivity, no verification with facts readily available--just suck up the spin
