Site Rules and Privacy Statement for The Cracker Barrel Discussion Board
This document is a copy of the site rules found on the registration page. You may notice references to "pressing the agree button". Those references are not applicable in this copy. The only way to register is on the registration page.
Site Rules
Registration to The Cracker Barrel is free! We do insist that you abide by the rules and policies detailed below. If you agree to the terms, please press the Agree button at the end of the page. Note: By pressing the button you declare that you are over the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18, we are sorry, but you are not authorized to register, or view this site.
There are several forums that makeup The Cracker Barrel. Posts to any and all of the forums are expected to meet the guidelines below, with special exceptions as noted for The Bilge forum.
By pressing the Agree button, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, hateful, threatening, or otherwise in violation of any laws, including the posting of Copyrighted materials. Pornography, nudity, advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are not permitted on this website and will be deleted, if found. You are welcome to use a personal avatar but, all avatars must be “work friendly”, meaning they cannot be sexual in nature, or otherwise tend to cause another member problems when viewing the site from work. Topics that become "flame wars" may be edited, locked, or deleted at the owner's, administrator's, or moderator's discretion.
The Bilge is a forum with relaxed rules of use. Registered members may post off-color jokes and materials that are not permitted in the other forums. Nudity, sexually suggestive images and images or discussion of bestiality are not permitted. Jokes and materials that are truly disgusting may be edited or removed. If you feel the need to share those types of jokes and materials with your friends, please do so via e-mail. All of the other rules listed above still apply to The Bilge. Please be aware that some persons could find some of the posts in The Bilge offensive. If you find the contents of The Bilge to be beyond your tolerance levels, please limit your use of the site to the other forums that are available for your use.
Although the owners, administrators and moderators of The Cracker Barrel will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this site (with the previously noted exceptions for The Bilge), it is impossible for us to review all messages, and the owners, administrators and moderators are not responsible for the contents of any message. All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of The Cracker Barrel or Jelsoft Enterprises Limited (developers of vBulletin) will be held responsible for the content of any message. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by e-mail. We will make every effort to review the questionable message within a reasonable period of time. If we determine that the message is inappropriate for this site, we may remove or edit the questionable message. This site is not continuously monitored, so we may not be able to remove or edit messages immediately.
The owners of The Cracker Barrel have the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason, or for no reason whatsoever. You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Cracker Barrel, the owners and their agents with respect to any claim based upon the transmission of your messages.
Violations
of these rules may result in immediate and permanent revocation of your
membership and posting privileges.
Unauthorized
access and/or dissemination of any information obtained by unauthorized access on
this server will be considered a criminal act and may be prosecuted as such.
Access to any area not commonly accessible to the public is subject to criminal
actions if prior permission is not explicitly granted by the owner.

Privacy Statement
We respect your privacy. We do not give away or sell information about you to anyone. Should the situation arise where legal authorities issue subpoenas or other legally binding court orders to the owners of this site, we will cooperate fully with those court orders.
